  • Pickleball
    • Pickleball at HYC

Members have asked the yacht club to offer Pickleball as another activity for member enjoyment. The Athletic Committee has designated Pickleball play on the third court. Two portable nets will be set up on the third court and temporary lines will be added to the court to accommodate play.

Pickle ball is a fun sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong and is a sport for all ages and skill levels. It is played with a paddle and plastic ball. The rules are simple, the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can be a quick, fast-paced, competitive game. Racquets can be purchased online through various sources (Amazon) but the Athletic Committee has six racquets available for use and some balls so interested players can get started.

Pickleball rules will be available on the court or you can go to www.usapa.org
