	About The Club

	Aloha and Welcome! The Hilo Yacht Club welcomes members and reciprocal club guests to a unique experience of year round social and recreational opportunities all within a relaxed, elegant environment. Superb Dining and Social The Hilo Yacht Club offers lunch and dinner along with holiday brunches, buffets and social events. The Club Manager and Executive Chef have created enticing menus featuring local island favorites and the best of European Pacific Rim influences. A variety of beer, wine and spirits complement the outstanding menu options. With prior arrangement, members are welcomed to use of the Club’s banquet rooms for meetings, parties, and special events. In addition to formal dining, the Club offers a casual menu during select hours. Members and guests may dine at the bar, outside dining pavilion, pool, or on the Club’s beautifully manicured grounds.		Recreation and Fitness The recreational focal point of the Club is the spacious oceanview pool enjoyed thoughout the year. For those who prefer outdoor sports, the club maintains three tennis courts, a black sand volleyball court and a new Fitness Center. Seasonal Whale Watching and year 'round Honu sightings are just a few of the activities members enjoy from the Club's oceanfront venue. The Hilo Yacht Club was incorporated in December of 1919 as a non-profit corporation under section 501 (c) 7 of the Internal Revenue Code. The club is organized for recreation, pleasure, and other non-profit purposes.
